DOWNWARD IMPACT TOOLThe Downward Impact Tool (DIT) is designed to shoot a projectile or spear to unclog debris, burst up small bridge plugs, cut holes in tubing, stops or break ceramic discs in horizontal well completions. Extra weight is required above to help control recoil action upon firing. The DIT can be deployed on electric line or coil tubing in combination with the SHARP tool. Different sizes can be made to best suit applications depending on Internal Diameter of tubing and size of obstruction.
